LDS Family Service Missionaries

Hello, My name is Bruce.....Hi, Bruce!
Cindy and I am serving in the LDS Family Services 12 step addiction recovery program.  This is a one year long service which began in February 2011.  We oversee 2 meetings, one on Tuesday evening and the other on Wednesday.  Everyone is welcome and we would love to have you come with us and "experience it for youself."  This is the Atonement in action!!

Lazy-Boy-Recliner-Head

I came home from work last week not feeling well, I fell asleep on the couch.  Stella took the opportunity to use my head as a lazy-boy-recliner while she watched cartoons.....she is so gentle and sensitive that I failed to wake up!!!!

Brothers and Sister>Summer reunion>Sand Hollow

Definitely a good day at the lake with the family:  No deaths, boat breakdown, sunburns, or near misses.  We are getting better at this!

The bearded Cat

Our 17 year old bearded cat is having another rough summer in the garage.  She doesn't know how to clean herself-she likes the hot garage it must make her feel as if she is on a Caribbean vacation!

Hunter?Gatherer?????

Hunter or gatherer???  Gatherer all the way.. The gravel pit garden is still putting out the produce and I am enjoying the work and the fruits of the labor.
Cantalope-tomatoes-bananna peppers-onions-watermelon- cucumbers
The darker round "melon looking" thing is a watermelon
The melons have been very sweet and a great size-vollyball size and smaller.  You can eat the whole thing in a sitting and do not have to put 1/2 a melon back in the ice box-no mess!
Here in Southern Utah it is now time to start putting in the fall garden.  Can you believe it!!!!
